2003 to Present – Cass Forkin serves as the Founder and Chairwoman, Twilight Wish Foundation, Inc.

First national nonprofit to grant wishes to seniors, with a segmented Veterans Program. Over 3,065 heartfelt, fun, once in a lifetime or need based Twilight Wishes have been granted to deserving seniors including 1,111 WWII, Korea and Vietnam and other Veterans. Twilight Wish inspires thousands of other wishes for seniors through earned media reaching millions of people each year, and helped start six other similar mission nonprofits and 18 chapters across America. Twilight Wish veteran stories and photos are on the Twilight Wish website at TwilightWish.org.

2017 Rosie the Riveter Initiative through Twilight Wish Foundation

Cass Forkin provided the marketing inspiration and creative concept that became the tipping point for the first national day to honor the women of WWII…March 21, 2017. 

  • Assisted Mae Krier and Phyllis Gould, Rosie the Riveters, American Rosie the Riveters Association, American Rosie Movement and others with media and marketing support to get the Congressional Votes for first ever National Rosie the Riveter Day in 2017, 75 years after their work during WWII.
  • Hosted Congress and Senate in the Lincoln Room in the Capitol Building on March 21, 2017 with two original Rosies for first National Rosie the Riveter Day celebrations.
  • Represented with the Rosies on the WWII Spirit of ’45 Float on Memorial Day in Washington, DC. Another first, first time Rosies were ever invited on the float.
